It should be clarified that Arpinder Kaur was NOT hired by "American Airlines Corp" and is not an "American Airlines pilot". 

AMR Corp itself is not an airline but a holding company. Both American &#38; Eagle are (currently*) wholly owned subsidiaries of AMR Corp and are distinct airlines from each other.  They have completely separate pilot groups, separate seniority lists, separate pilot unions and are in no way the same airline and should not be mistaken as such. 

*As of Sept 2011, AMR is divesting itself of American Eagle Airlines and they will soon cease to be part of AMR.</description>
